Sapper Morton is an ex-soldier trying to lead an ordinary life.
He works as a bartender to stay out of trouble and minimize its severity.
One day, he witnesses a mother and child being verbally and physically attacked by an aggressive group.
Sapper intervenes and protects both mother and child.
Sapper is put at great risk by this act of violence as his existence is illegal and replicates can no longer function freely without him being present.
Film follows Sapper as he attempts to escape those seeking his capture.
