Timmy, an isolated boy living with his family, longs to have someone to talk to - someone like Fido from Timmy's mom bought as help around the house became Timmy's best friend until his collar malfunctions and causes more issues between the pair than it's worth.
The movie is an engaging comedy horror film which delves deep into themes surrounding friendship, family life and conformity. While not overtly gory or violent in its depictions of violence or terror, there are still some frightening scenes and instances that suggest violent moments throughout.
