Hiwa Natsunagi, an Iwaki City high school student living in Fukushima Prefecture. Uncertain of her postgraduate plans, Hiwa discovers Spa Resort Hawaiians the "Hawaii of Tohoku", where her sister Mari had worked and applies spontaneously as part of their new dancer (hula girl) campaign.
Hiwa was accepted despite her lack of experience and started on her journey towards becoming a Hula Girl alongside Kanna, Ranko, 'ohana and Shion from her class. Unfortunately due to their differing personalities the first stage ended in disaster for Hiwa and company.
As rookies of any sort can be dauntingly dispiriting, the girls often become demoralized; yet with time comes wisdom in sharing both positive and negative experiences as a group and strengthening bonds despite occasional stumbles on stage. With hearts and minds united they take another attempt at performing on stage together.
