Steve's friend Chris can't understand why Steve is reluctant to play in their band. At one night at Steve's house, Steve told Chris a tale of traveling from Baltimore to Virginia so he and Jeff can inspect a cabin left by their father - they hitched up an RV ride with Colleen (Jeff's wife), Colleen (Jeff's wife) and Susan as part of this adventure.
On their journey, Steve learns of Colleen's ability to see ghosts. Soon thereafter, after she reads an Edgar Allen Poe story aloud, they begin playing footsy together and when they arrive at their cabin are approached by ghostly Confederate soldiers telling tales about their fallen captain who have come alive once more to share stories and tell more tales from life on the frontlines.
