Geppetto struggles to afford the perfect Christmas present for his beloved Pinocchio. Out of kindness and in order to buy him an arithmetic book for Christmas. Geppetto even sells off his boots in order to provide Pinocchio with something memorable on Christmas morning!
Pinocchio decides to return Geppetto's kindness by selling his book against Jiminy Cricket's warning, only to run into Fox and Cat duo who threaten it with theft and sell-backs. Unfortunately for Pinocchio he meets them instead.
These cunning con artists manage to convince Pinocchio to bury his money in the snow under false promises that it will turn into an extravagant Christmas tree covered in golden ornaments! Unfortunately for him, trusting nature Pinocchio falls for this scheme and becomes trapped into their scheme.
As one might guess, Pinocchio soon learns his mistake and feels terrible for tricking Geppetto out of such an important gift.
Pinocchio encounters Julietta, an exquisite puppet who becomes his friend; Pinocchio longs to bring her to life and is eventually joined in this endeavor by Fox and Cat who devise an elaborate plan in their attempt.
They claim there's an ingredient which will transform Julietta into reality; Pinocchio undertakes an adventurous quest in search of this remedy in order to assist his new friend on her mission. Pinocchio vows to help and goes on this dangerous adventure on behalf of Julietta.
Pinocchio discovers many valuable lessons along his travels about friendship, honesty and the true spirit of Christmas.
