An initial unwilling participant is lured away to Hollywood by production team and transformed into reluctant star of show, becoming massive hit and propelling Ronnie into fame and fortune - with fame coming with money coming a fancy mansion, socializing with celebrities, and winning over his dream girl (beer commercial model).
Ronnie finds that fame and fortune come at a cost. Living a clean lifestyle requires forced good behavior from him that leaves him wanting more thrill of pursuit and camaraderie from old life - this movie examines reality TV as well as maintaining manufactured persona.
