The Iron Claw is a biographical drama film inspired by the true tale of professional wrestling's Von Erich family dynasty in the 60s and 80s, during their rise to fame under immense pressure; and tragic events which ensued thereafter. The Iron Claw charts their path towards stardom until their eventual demise at tragic hands of fateful events that befell them all.
This film follows Kevin, David, Kerry and Mike Von Erich as they were trained by their father Fritz to become wrestlers. Through him they developed strong work ethics and an incessant pursuit of success in wrestling competition.
The brothers gained significant success as wrestlers, yet their journey was filled with both triumph and devastating losses. This film offers insight into both of their personal journeys within and beyond the wrestling ring.
