Fei, an unsuspecting fisherman with hidden fighting skills, stumbles upon an attempt at assassination on 13th Prince.
Fei rescues the 13th Prince from captors and provides him sanctuary in his village, becoming fast friends in the process. However, his evil brother (14th) decides he wants the throne, sending assassins after him; Fei helps the 13th Prince escape by hiding him away in a tomb revealing who the real prince really was; then joins his quest together in finding allies to retake it all from 14th Prince whose assassins will strike at any opportunity they find.
They encounter forces belonging to the 14th Prince and find themselves in grave peril. Armed with a jade token from Lan-ling Lord Fei embarks upon his mission of tracking down Lan-ling Lord Lan and Princess Yuet-nga; also protecting her against assassins sent from Lan-ling by Mo-sin, Mo'sin acts as their bodyguard protecting Princess Yuet-nga from harm by assassins of Lan.
