Santiago "Pope" Garcia, an disillusioned ex-Delta Force operator now working as a private military contractor, becomes disenchanted with his current situation when approached by a mysterious informant with an alluring offer: an information channel offering direct assistance in exchange for something in return.
An informant provides details on a highly wealthy South American drug lord named Gabriel Martin Lorea who keeps an estimated $75 Million hidden away in his jungle mansion.
Pope assembles his old team - comprised of former Special Forces brothers Ben Miller (an energetic mechanic), William "Ironhead" Hayes, Frankie Frascazo and Davies - with whom they form an intimate alliance that may or may not result in financial security for all involved. Yet the temptation of financial stability convinces these disparate figures to embark on an audacious heist mission together.
However, their last job goes horribly awry as their relationship unravels into perils that test their loyalty, combat skills and morals - with consequences such as turning from fighting for causes they believed in to crime for personal gain. The film explores this morally grey area when soldiers once used for good turn toward criminal acts for personal gain instead.
