The neo noir thriller You Were Not Really Here tells the tale of Joe, a Gulf War veteran and traumatized ex-FBI agent who is a hired hand specializing on rescuing girls missing from human trafficking rings. Joe is a hired gun who takes on the job of saving Nina, a kidnapped underage girl.
